Introduction:¶

The -Sec6 option prints a short summary of Section 6, the Bit Map Section.

$ wgrib2 png.grb2 -Sec6
1:4:Sec6 length 6 bitmap indicator 255

lenth=6                       Section 6 is 6 octets/bytes in length
bitmap indicator 255          Table 6.0 has a value of 255, (no bitmap)
